Ursinus College
The Grizzly
The Grizzly, founded in 1902 as The Ursinus Weekly, is the student newspaper of Ursinus College. Originally published under its founding name for more than 75 years, the publication was renamed The Grizzly in the spring of 1978. Produced weekly by students during the academic year, the newspaper provides coverage of campus news, student life, athletics, arts, opinion, and events that shape the Ursinus community. As an independent, student-run publication, The Grizzly has served generations of students by informing the campus, amplifying student voices, and documenting the history and traditions of Ursinus College through responsible and engaging journalism.
