
Our Team
The Philadelphia Student Press Association is run by students, for students. Our team brings together leaders from member schools across Philadelphia who are passionate about strengthening student journalism. From organizing events and workshops to building resources for young reporters, PSPA’s team works collaboratively to empower the next generation of journalists.

Founder & CEO
Jackson Juzang
Jackson is a media entrepreneur, producer, journalist, and Haverford College student working at the intersection of sports, culture, and journalism. In addition to being the founder of PSPA, he has also founded PBJ Productions, a Pittsburgh-based multimedia company creating original content across sports, music, comedy, and entertainment.

Marketing & Operations Lead
Joseph Lendacky
Joseph is a digital marketer and graduate student at Temple University, pursuing a Master’s in Digital Marketing. With experience in social media strategy, event marketing, and content creation, he is passionate about using storytelling to connect communities.

Communications Lead
Claire Herquet
Claire is a social media marketing intern and a media and journalism student at La Salle University. With significant experience in content strategy, research & fact-checking, and creativity, she is passionate about utilizing unique strategies to build strong brand identities and drive meaningful engagement.

Treasurer
Katie Thorn
Katie is a student journalist at Rowan University, pursuing a minor in Strategic Communication and a certificate in Public Relations. With experience in writing, publishing, and audience engagement, she is passionate about storytelling that resonates with readers and informs the public. Detail-oriented and collaborative, she values diverse perspectives and leverages strong communication skills to build meaningful connections.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board is led by students from PSPA member schools, ensuring that the organization reflects the needs and perspectives of young journalists. Members help guide programming, share feedback from their campuses, and collaborate on ways to strengthen student journalism across Philadelphia.
