Drexel University
The Triangle
The Triangle is Drexel University’s independent, student-run newspaper and has been the voice of the campus community since its founding in 1926. Publishing biweekly during the school year and monthly in the summer, the paper is editorially and financially independent from the University. Over its history, The Triangle has been home to prominent alumni and contributors, received national recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists, and earned two National Pacemaker Awards from the Associated Collegiate Press. With one of the earliest online editions in the 1990s, the publication has continued to innovate with digital-first content including features, podcasts, and multimedia. Today, The Triangle is staffed by more than 70 students and remains committed to informing and engaging Drexel’s diverse community.
