About the event
PJs and The Press is a relaxed, community-focused evening hosted by the Philadelphia Student Press Association (PSPA), bringing together student journalists from across the region for meaningful conversation, connection, and reflection. Taking place on Wednesday, February 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Haverford College, this weeknight event invites attendees to show up as they are—comfiest pajamas encouraged.
The evening is designed to create a welcoming and low-pressure space where student journalists can meet peers from other schools, share experiences, and discuss the realities of working in student media today. Upon arrival, all attendees will check in and complete a name sticker that includes their name, role, and position or favorite beat, helping spark easy introductions and organic conversations throughout the night.
The program will begin with a welcome from Marchella, who will introduce the Philadelphia Student Press Association, outline its mission, and thank attendees for being part of the student press community.…
